주의할 것
- 1효과음마다 라이선스가 다르다 — CC0 는 자유, CC BY 4.0 은 제작자 · 소리 링크 · 라이선스를 적어야 하고, CC BY-NC 4.0 은 광고 붙은 영상 · 유료 앱 등 돈 버는 작업물에는 쓸 수 없다(옛 Sampling+ 는 BY-NC 에 더해 상업 광고 금지).
- 2출처 표시는 Freesound 가 제안한 형식("소리 이름" by 사용자 ( 소리 주소 ) licensed under CCBY 4.0)으로 영상 설명란 · 크레딧 · 별도 크레딧 페이지에 적으면 된다 — 받은 소리 목록은 계정의 attribution list 에서 뽑을 수 있다.
- 3다른 사람이 같은 효과음을 넣은 노래를 Content ID 에 등록해 두면 내 영상에 소유권 주장이 걸릴 수 있다 — Freesound 업로드 날짜가 더 앞선다는 근거로 이의 제기하면 대개 해결된다고 FAQ 가 안내한다.

- Freesound FAQ 는 'NC = 돈을 벌 수 없다' 고만 적고, 광고 수익이 붙는 유튜브 영상 · 무료 앱 안의 광고가 NC 에 해당하는지는 직접 답하지 않는다 — CC 재단의 NonCommercial 해석 문서는 이번에 열지 않았다.
- Freesound 소리 때문에 한국에서 분쟁이 된 사례(소송 · 내용증명)는 찾지 못했다.
- CC BY 4.0 · CC BY-NC 4.0 법적 조문(creativecommons.org) 원문은 이번 조사에서 다시 열지 않았다(Twemoji 항목에서 CC BY 4.0 제3조 a항을 확인한 바 있다).

for the "zero" license you can do pretty much what you want with the sound. You could even sell the sound, ... but you can't claim you are the author! Our interpretation of this license: you can do pretty much what you could do with the attribution noncommercial license, but additionally you can't make commercial advertisement with the sound. Most often this can be (and has been) resolved by disputing the copyright claim through YouTube and explaining the situation.
