주의할 것
- 1지도 왼쪽 아래 Mapbox 로고와 「© Mapbox」 「© OpenStreetMap」 「Improve this map」 텍스트 출처 표기를 없애거나 가리면 안 된다(Product Terms 1.4). 인쇄물 · 영상에서는 링크만 빼고 같은 표기를 적는다.
- 2타일을 서버에 저장 · 프록시하거나 스크린샷 · 정적 이미지로 대신 보여주면 안 되고, 기기 캐시도 30일까지만(2.8.1). 인쇄 · 영상 사용은 Studio 로 평생 100장까지, 그 이상은 별도 구매(1.7).
- 3비즈니스 인텔리전스 · 부동산 · 차량용 앱은 무료 크레딧으로 운영할 수 없고 Commercial Application License 를 사야 한다(ToS). 한국은 Geocoding 커버리지 표에서 주소(Address) 단위가 미지원이라 한국 주소 검색 용도로는 맞지 않는다.

확인하지 못한 것
- Mapbox Streets(지도 타일) 의 한국 상세도 · 데이터 출처(OSM 외 한국 공급사 여부) 를 설명하는 Mapbox 공식 문서는 찾지 못했다. 한국 한계는 Geocoding 커버리지 표의 Address 미지원만 원문으로 확인했다.
- Product Terms 는 Japan 지도 데이터에만 별도 인쇄 제한을 두고 South Korea 는 언급하지 않는다 — 한국 지도 데이터의 국외 반출(공간정보관리법 제16조) 과 Mapbox 의 관계는 확인하지 못했다.
- Mobile SDK 의 오프라인 타일 팩 용량 한도 수치(Product Terms 2.8.1 이 「Mobile SDKs 에 설정된 한도」 라고만 함) 는 SDK 문서에서 확인하지 않았다.
- 무료 구간(월 5만 로드) 이 광고 붙은 사이트 등 일반 상업 사이트에서 그대로 쓰여도 되는지 명시한 문장은 없다 — 특정 업종(BI · 부동산 · 차량) 만 별도 라이선스 요구로 적혀 있어 그 밖은 가능하다고 읽히지만 원문 확인은 못 했다.
- Mapbox 출처 표기 누락 · 약관 위반으로 실제 분쟁이 된 사례는 찾지 못했다.
