- 1구글 지도: 책은 5천 부까지 · 정기간행물 · 사업 문서는 허용, 5천 부 넘는 책 · 표지 · 여행 가이드북 · 굿즈 · 광고의 주된 이미지는 금지. 유튜브 교육 · 오락 영상은 허락 불필요, 영상 광고 · 홍보용과 TV · 영화는 승인 신청 대상이고, Google Earth 는 상업 · 홍보 용도 금지.
- 2카카오맵: 출판 · 인쇄물 · 영상물에 쓸 때 상표 사용 가이드를 지키고 출처를 표기해야 하며, 카카오 담당자는 영상 속 지도 화면에 kakao 로고가 보이게 캡처하라고 답했다. 책 제목 · 대표 이미지에 카카오맵 상표를 쓰거나 제휴처럼 보이게 쓰면 안 된다.
- 3OSM: 책 · PDF 에는 다른 크레딧이 있는 자리에 출처와 openstreetmap.org/copyright 주소를 인쇄하고, 영상은 지도 위 · 엔딩 크레딧 · 설명란에 주소와 함께 표기한다. 네이버 지도는 캡처 허용 문구를 찾지 못했으니 상업용이면 네이버에 직접 문의한다.
