모델마다 CC 종류가 다르다 — CC BY 면 작품 옆에 작가 · 모델 링크 표기, NC 는 상업 금지, ND 는 수정 금지
주의할 것
- 1내려받기 창의 라이선스를 모델마다 확인한다 — CC BY-NC 는 유료 게임 · 광고 붙은 서비스에 못 쓰고, CC BY-ND 는 리깅 · 텍스처 수정 같은 변형이 안 된다. CC0 만 조건이 없다.
- 2CC BY 계열은 게임 크레딧 · 앱 About · 영상 설명란처럼 공개된 곳에 「This work is based on <모델> by <작가> licensed under CC BY 4.0」 형식으로 작가 · 모델 링크를 적어야 한다(Sketchfab 가 내려받기 창에서 복사해 준다). 받은 뒤 작가가 라이선스를 바꿔도 받을 당시 라이선스가 유효하다.
- 3스토어(유료) Standard 라이선스는 출처 표시가 필요 없지만, 모델을 파일 그대로 다시 배포하거나(에셋 팩 · 추출 가능한 형태) 로고에 쓰거나 모델 자체가 상품의 핵심 가치인 작업물은 금지. Editorial 은 상업 · 광고에 쓸 수 없다.

확인하지 못한 것
- Sketchfab 이용약관 상단에 운영사가 「KitBash SF Operations LLC」(Effective 2026-10-27)로, 스토어 라이선스에는 「Sketchfab is a division of Epic Games」로 적혀 있다 — 운영 주체 변경 · 스토어(Fab 으로 이전)의 현재 상태는 확인하지 못했다.
- Help Center 의 CC 라이선스 종류 설명 문서(Downloading Models)는 404 라, 종류별 설명은 2022 블로그 글과 크레딧 안내 문서로 확인했다. CC BY-NC-SA · CC BY-NC-ND · CC0 의 Sketchfab 자체 설명은 없었다.
- 게임 안에서 출처를 어디(크레딧 화면 · 스토어 설명)에 적어야 하는지는 Sketchfab 문서가 「alongside where you published your new work」로만 적는다 — 구체 위치의 공식 안내는 없다.
- Sketchfab CC 모델 무단 사용으로 실제 분쟁이 된 사례는 찾지 못했다(Objaverse AI 데이터셋 논란은 블로그 글만 있고 법적 조치는 확인되지 않음).
