「documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution」 에 앱 안 설정 화면의 오픈소스 고지가 포함되는지에 대한 OSI 공식 해석은 찾지 못했다(실무에서는 그렇게 쓴다).
BSD 라이선스에는 특허 허락 조항이 없다 — 특허 문제는 라이선스 본문으로 판단할 수 없다.
BSD 고지 누락으로 한국에서 실제 분쟁이 된 사례는 찾지 못했다.
