주의할 것
- 1모든 생성 이미지에 보이지 않는 SynthID 워터마크가 들어간다(지울 수 없다). 「사람이 만든 것처럼 속이기」는 Google 서비스 약관의 생성형 AI 금지 사용 정책에 걸린다.
- 2AI Studio · Gemini API 무료 할당량(Unpaid Services)으로 만든 입력 · 출력은 Google 제품 개선 · 머신러닝 학습에 쓰이고 사람 검토자가 읽을 수 있다. 고객 자료 · 미공개 디자인은 유료 API 로만 넣는다. Gemini 앱도 「활동 저장(Keep Activity)」을 꺼야 학습 사용을 막는다.
- 3Gemini API · AI Studio 는 18세 이상 개발자의 전문 · 사업 용도 전용이고(소비자용 아님), 유럽 · 영국 사용자에게 서비스하려면 유료 API 만 쓸 수 있다. 출력물 소유권을 Google 이 「주장하지 않는다」는 것이지, 남에게 같은 그림이 나올 수 있고 저작권을 보장해 주는 것은 아니다.

확인하지 못한 것
- Gemini 앱(소비자용) 이미지에 눈에 보이는 워터마크(Gemini 반짝이 표시)가 붙는지, 유료 구독(AI Pro · Ultra)에서는 빠지는지는 공식 문서로 확인하지 못했다.
- Gemini 앱 전용 이용약관(상업 이용 허용 문구)은 별도 문서가 없고 Google 서비스 약관이 적용된다. 약관에 「상업 이용 가능」이라는 명시 문구는 없고 「소유권을 주장하지 않는다」 는 문구까지만 확인했다.
- Vertex AI(Google Cloud) 의 Imagen 은 Google Cloud 약관 · 생성형 AI 보상(indemnity) 조항이 따로 있다 — 여기서는 다루지 않았다.
- Gemini · Imagen 출력물로 국내에서 분쟁이 된 사례는 찾지 못했다.
